Today, more than any other time in our recent history than I can remember,  and especially in Southern California, there are more photographers than you can imagine. As a matter of fact, I think there are more photographers then there are brides and grooms to get married. Some of them are unbelievably great and some of them are just starting out. That being said, it’s always nice when you can be acknowledged for your work when there are so many photographers all competing and shooting well, and hoping for the same type of publicity.

Today I received notification that one of my weddings had been published in a wedding magazine from the San Diego area. Sure, there are lots of photographers that get published all the time and sure its a small entry in the publication. But this was my first one (hopefully more to come) so Im going to bask in it and keep the smile on my face all night. I’ve been working so hard to get to where I am from when I started this a few years ago. Lots of personal transformation and dedication to continually move forward and wanting to always do better and improve so little victories like this make it all worth it.

Let’s be honest. Everyone love’s the feeling of the old “pat on the back” or the “good job” which helps us build up our confidence level. So I finally got one today and it feels pretty good.

Thanks to all the followers of the blog and all my friends and clients that have supported me and allowed me to freeze a few moments of your lifetime and capture them on camera. Thank you!!

A special thanks to Leila of Brilliant Event Design for her part in the wedding planning and with the correspondence with Exquisite Weddings Magazine.

Lastly, I can’t go without thanking Marisa Leanne and Matt Brown for everything they do at each wedding.
